[slideshow]This weekend I took part in the Queen's Jubilee celebrations at my local National Trust house, Erddig in Wrexham.   I mainly played violin but also a little musical saw - in the tradition of the last owner and Squire of the house, Philip Yorke.  It was brilliant to see people's reactions of amazement and incredulity!  And also to begin to hear a few snippets of local stories about musical saw playing in the area, which I am going to investigate more over the coming months.  Unfortunately the Welsh rain really did set in, but that did mean I always had an appreciative audience of ducks!
