During May 2025 I undertook the Peillio/Pollinator Residency at Oriel CARN, Caernarfon, on behalf of StudioMADE Denbigh. This residency formed part of a Wales-wide programme of partnering artists with the artist-led spaces StudioMADE, Elysium Swansea & g39 Cardiff, exploring MUDO - themes around positive migration.

During the residency I continued my investigations into kinetic sound that began in Wind Song. This time I explored sound as a force that moves outside of & between borders, linking to flags as a potent symbol of identity. My main inspiration came from the history of Caernarfon - the maritime setting, the local folk-activism & in particular the castle. It was fascinating to discover more about its archaeology, folklore & history, with the help of CADW.
